Cortex Presets was born out of the love for chasing iconic guitar tones. Creating presets can be difficult, especially when you start using multiple signal rows, combining amps, using equalisers and other facets of creating a tone.
All of the presets on Cortex Presets are designed to be a great starting point for chasing tones from some of your favourite bands on your Neural DSP Quad Cortex. We try to only use stock amps and effects, as captures can be made private or deleted. In future, we might start providing our own custom captures, but we prefer to work with the device sounds itself.
While we endeavour to create out-of-the-box plug and play guitar presets, depending on the type of pickups and guitar you have, as well as the quality of your instrumental cable and freshness of your strings, these patches might sound different than what you were expecting. We are always willing to work with our customers to help make tweaks.
We built the delivery system, too.
We used to share every order by hand through Cortex Cloud. We built PresetBridge to automate that work, so you can get your presets sooner. Other preset creators can use it for their stores too.
Follow beggars on Cortex Cloud and enter your Cortex Cloud username at checkout. Once payment is confirmed and we’re connected on Cortex Cloud, your presets are shared automatically, usually within minutes.
